Find a hospital

Most people prefer to be treated in a local hospital. Use the hospital search to find one nearest to you.

 

Remember, you may not be covered for all scales of hospital. Refer to your Policy Document or Membership Certificate to confirm what scale of cover you have.

 

If you receive treatment in a more expensive hospital (with a higher scale classification in the Hospital Directory) than you are covered for, then you will be responsible for some of the expenses incurred. Fore more information, please refer to 'Out of Scale Cover' in your Policy Document.

Most products have an associated hospital scale. We grade hospitals according to their charges. This is no reflection of the quality of care you will receive. The treatment you can expect at any hospital will always be of the highest standard

Choosing scales

Some local hospitals might not have the facilities required to treat more complex or unusual conditions, which means that a patient might have to be referred to a hospital further away from their home. Remember also that some specialists only work from a particular hospital.


Are you an individual?

Use the hospital search to find out what scale your nearest private hospital is in. Enter your postcode and click 'Find nearest hospital. Are you an employer?

You will need to choose a suitable scale for each employee on your group policy. You should select a scale that includes the hospitals they are most likely to use. Use the hospital search to find what scale your employee's nearest private hospital is in.  Enter your employees postcode and click 'Find nearest hospital.
